At the Christian Brothers’ Primary School we aim to maximize the development of our children and to work towards realizing their individual potential. In doing so, teachers will identify children who find the education process more challenging. For those children who are experiencing difficulties, teachers will work with you, as a parent, to identify children’s needs and take action to meet them. In consultation with you, the parents, the school may put in place an Individual Educational Plan (IEP) to help address the needs identified. If educational needs are very significant, the school may seek advice or external support or assessment. (All provision for Special Education needs will be in line with the Code of Practice on Identification & assessment of Special Needs (Education (NI) Order 1996).
