Hello all,
This week we will be learning 2 new sounds: 'k' and 'v', and reading a new ebook called "Who Takes the Train?".This will serve as a link to our new Literacy/WAU topic in Term 3, that of 'At the Seaside'. A detailed letter on this can be found in this folder under the heading "New Topic Information for Parents". This is usually a really enjoyable and fun topic, I hope you find this to be the case at home!
In Numeracy, we will be introducing the children to the concept of addition within 10. In school, the focus is very much on practical addition before attempting written worksheets. A mixture of practical and written activities is lined up for this week, with Monday and Tuesday requiring the same template, and Thursday and Friday's Numeracy sharing a longer worksheet.
