A chairde,
Go raibh mile maith as ucht an obair iontach a rinne sibh agus a sheol sibh chugam an an tseachtain seo caite. Bhí mé iontach sásta na cuimhní is mó atá agaibh in Rang 3 a léamh. Más rud nach bhfuair tú seal an obair sin a dhéanamh, thig leat am ar bith an an tseachtain seo. Tá 16 réalt tuillte mar bhain sibh an sproich amach ar Sumdog. Tá mé iontach sásta libh, agus cuirfidh mé na torthaí ó Nessy suas chomh luath agus atá siad agam.
A big well done to the 16 Rang 3 pupils who hit their weekly Sumdog target! You may have noticed that Sumdog have introduced a new concept where you can be rewarded for your daily or weekly work! Last week those who hit their target were rewarded with 200 extra coins for their efforts! Keep an eye out for rewards during the incoming week. Nessy results will be available this afternoon. We continue our home learning journey this week with lots of fun learning activities which span range of curricular areas. Please note that the two art-based activities require paint, but if you do not have paint at your disposal just alter and use markers, pencils or whatever you have in the house!
We continue with pages 64 and 65 in the Mental Maths book and all other activities are outlined below. For those who have not yet completed the final AR Star Test, you still have time – Well done to those who have already completed, you need not do another Star Test until you are in Rang 4! Our weekly readers as Gaeilge will be available on Google Classsroom! Its great to see so many of you using and interacting on this forum as I’m sure it will be used when you reach R4 and beyond.
To conclude I leave you with the names of a few very interesting TV series as Gaeilge, all available on Cúla 4. By watching and indeed listening to these programmes, it will ensure your child gets exposure to Gaeilge labhartha - an teanga bheo! They are an excellent and informative and you as parents may enjoy watching and learning too!
Le meas,
Bean Uí Mhaolaín
