A chairde,

Agus muid anois i mí na Bealtaine, leanfaidh muid ar aghaigh ag obair sa bhaile. Bhí seachtain iontach againn an tseachtain seo chaite. Bhain 22 an sprioc amach ar Sumdog. Tá 19 réalt tuillte agaibh mar gheall ar an obair a rinne sibh ar Nessy. Beidh Mr Lavelle iontach sásta mar rinne 19 páistí ó R3 an Star Test ar AR. Tá súil agam go bhfuil sibh ag baint sult as na leabhair léitheoireachta atá ar fáil ar Google Classroom fosta. Muna bhfuil tú cláraithe go fóill, seol ríomhphost chugam agus beidh mé abálta rud éigin a shocrú duit gan mhoill. Beidh deireadh seachtaine saoire bainc againn agus mar gheall ar sin, níl scoil ar bith againn Dé Aoine! Bíodh lá agus ar ndóigh deireadh seachtaine deas, slán agus sábháilte agaibh!

As we begin our home school learning for the month of May, I would like to say a big ‘Maith sibh’ to the R.3 children and indeed you as parents.

You have shown a tremendous amount of support, and as a result of your hard work 22 children from R.3 reached the weekly Sumdog target. This is so important as it recaps on work covered during class time, and consolidates work we are currently doing.

19 stars completed their 60 min target and 16 of you have surpassed the 100 min point! Maith sibh go léir. Tá obair iontach déanta!

 Last week a message went out on the school app, asking all our kids to take the AR Star Test, Mr Lavelle will be delighted to hear that 19 children have already done so and I imagine this number will increase during this week.

We have a bank holiday weekend on the way and this means we have a day off school on Friday! I’m sure you and your new teachers will be delighted with a break so enjoy!!
