- The school wastes a lot of paper
Our major topic this year is Outdoor Learning. We aim to improve the school grounds and have more pupils learning outside the classroom. To get more KS2 pupils learning outside, Mrs Donnelly will set up a Gardening Club.
Litter is one of our minor topics. We aim to ensure our school is as litter free as possible. We will do this by taking part in the Litter Less Campaign, Big Spring Clean and making the school more aware of the effects of litter.
Waste is our other minor topic. Waste or rubbish is what people throw away because they no longer need it or want it. Almost everything we do creates waste and as a society we are currently producing more waste than ever before. This is why we need to start thinking about resource efficiency. We aim to encourage all classes to reuse paper with the use of scrap paper trays and also encourage pupils to reuse or upcycle their clothing!
