This month we had lots of hands on learning. Our topic was 'Houses and Homes'. The children enjoyed using props to retell the traditional tale of 'The 3 Little pigs'.
We made Jam sandwiches and wrote the instructions on how to do this. We set up shop and used money to pay for items. This was good fun.
It was Chinese New year of the 'Snake'. We had a day of celebrating Chinese Traditions. The children enjoyed trying to work out how to use chop sticks to pick up noodles and rice. They enjoyed putting the food into Chinese take-away containers to take home with them 😉
